What comes next?

 I know that this has probably been asked but I am gonna ask again.
So I meet with the surgeon next week, then the gastric class on the 20th then RD,RN,SW on the 29th.
What is after that? What other appts will be booked?
I am getting really nervous, I am sure that I want this surgery...I want to be around to see my kids graduate and get married and have babies, I just am getting nervous thinking about the things that can go wrong and after what happened on the board in the last 5 or 6 weeks I am a little more scared than I was.
So anyone who can help with the what nexts I would really appreciate. I am going through HRRH with Dr. Huynh...so I guess my surgery will be at St. Joes

No, No... not at St. Joe's... Dr. Huynh is at HRRH Finch site for surgery. I had my surgery with him  in January.

You will  have to see the medical internist ; Dr Glazer and he decides what tests if any you will require prior to surgery. Once they are done and you see him for follow up he then refers you on to the last appointment with your surgeon. When you see the surgeon he arranges for a date and provides the Optifast (well is office staff do) they will also arrange your PATTS appointment date that day... which needs to be with 30 days of the surgery date.

 Thank you for answers, although I am confused because it was the office staff that told me my surgery will be at the St Joes site with Dr Huynh.
How long after the first set of appts does it usually take to get to see the internist??

It took me nearly a month to get an appointment with Dr. Glazer. I went up and booked the appointment immediatley after finishing with the surgeon, dietician, RN, Social worker and getting the blood and urine spec collected. That was the soonest they could take me, so I see him (Dr, Glazer) March 9th.

i had dr huynh at HRRH.

It's normal to be nervous, for sure. Make sure you know the signs and symptoms of what means danger. Educate yourself.

 Thanks Monica...I truly do appreciate it. I am not sure why and excuse the french but I really am tripping balls today. I know I will be fine I know everything will be ok. I just see what has happened in the last little while.

second of all, what's happened in the last while has got me tripping too. It's a horrible heads up about what could happen, and we need to be aware of the dangers, and educate ourselves.

 I have sticky notes on my computer screen thats say EDUCATE EDUCATE EDUCATE, What else can you read today. And Listen to your body it will always be honest.

I just wanted to say thanks for asking because I meet with Dr. Glazer next week and I honestly didn't know what happened afterwards (not exactly).  Now I know!! 

and OMG @ tripping balls, I haven't heard that one but I like it.  LOL...
