That's not true at all... The WMC saw me and Dr. Hong is doing surgery on me and my original RNY was in the USA.

Some surgeons/doctors may not like to "handle other doctor's work" but there are some that will!!

I don't believe your doctor is correct.  And if he is, get in to see a gastroenterologist. There is no harm in calling any of the bariatric centres and asking for help!

This is about more than your discomfort or a physician's preference not to mess with someone else's work.

Potentially (worst case scenario) this could involve a volvulus or worse.
You should AT LEAST call your local bariatric centre and ask for a consult.

Like Karen says, it can't hurt to ask, and you don't mess around with complications after our surgery, no matter where you had it done.

If you are using this forum for all medical needs you are heading for trouble.
This is a good place to come for help and there is good advice but there are no doctors or medical experts here.

Get your GP to refer you to the bariatric centre in Guelph.

Good.  Guelph has an excellent centre and surgeons.  You shouldn't be in pain for that long, especially having had bariatric surgery!
