Calcium post op question
RNY on 05/30/12
So I have my second meeting with Dr Huynh on April 12th to get my date and pick up my Opti, so I am ordering all my stuff and I am not sure if this is a suitable calicum. And these chewable vits. Any help would be appreciated.

I must have spent about $100 on calcium supplements until I finally found one that I could tolerate. In the end, the chewable calcium from Bariatric Advantage that you can buy at the Shoppers Drug Mart at TWH was a life saver. I found all the liquid calcium citrates way too thick and chalky tasting for me. But I didn't try the one that you have linked to.

If you read the ingredients, it tells you which type of calcium is in it and that one is carbonate. Apparently there is a drug store in HRRH that carries Bariatric Advantage products so you could pick up some chewable calcium when there. I have had all the flavours and like the wild cherry and cinnamon the best. I found the mint and the chocolate very chalky even when sucked on but the other 2 were very good.
