Have you ever roasted broc before?  I haven't tried it yet as I find it doesn't have a lot of water and figured it may not roast too well.  Maybe I will throw a few florets in tonight with the cauliflower and see how it turns out.  My fav is roasted brussel sprouts.

I have and you have to be REALLY careful with it - it turns bad fast! lol

I love brussel sprouts roasted too - AND asparagus. YUM!

I have asparagus for later this week, I love them too.  Not many roasted veggies I don't like so will try the broc and watch it.

Isn't that funny...I've been craving mashed cauliflower all week. I ma**** with some Laughing Cow Cheese....YUMMY!

I might detour to No Frills & pick up a head today.

Oooooh, I've never done that Simona!!  I am totally going to try that!  I just bought a new flavour of LC - french onion. Delish!

B: 1/c cup greek yogurt, 1/4cup blueberries & 3 tbsp bran buds
S: Half a protein bar
L: 2oz flank steak, 1/4 cup light cesar salad, 1/4 cup croutons
s: 2tbsp hummus, 3 triscuits & 1 babybel
D: Same as lunch.

Before surgery I was really active with a min. hour workout. Now Post op I''ve worked myself up to a 40min walk (15min one wiped me out last month). So I'll squeeze one in today after work before my french class.

All this talk of roasted vegetables has got me wanting to head to the grocery store

B - premier shake
L - 1/2c of homemade chicken noodle soup
S - cottage cheese with berries and hemp seeds( these should make me happy)
D - fish with some roasted vegetables (after I pick them up)

Some great ideas here. This is a great site!

 Ok Barb - where are you!?!

I'm in Toronto today at a conference.  Freaky for me because I'm trying to control my carbs and work a program with almost NO choice in my food today.

I'll have to come back later to update, but here's where I'm at now...

B - served was muffins and cheese.  I ran across to Tims, got a breakfast sandwhich with egg whites and whole grain english muffin.  Took the top off.  
S - cheese and fruit from that continental breakfast buffet
L - chicken breast (baked) with a little mango chutney and spinach salad with mustard vinegrette.  I'm avoiding the cookie table for desert.  Got a diet gingerale for later when I'm feeling deprived.
S -nothing (so proud of myself!)
D - fell off the rails here.  Had a couple glasses of wine and split three tapas plates with my collegeau - chicken poutine, apple salad, and a chiorzo potato cake.  Then had a dark chocolate bar for bed time snack!  AAAKK! 

I need to go home.  Conferences are bad for me.
