What are you eating/doing today (Sunday)
Good morning everyone - it is a foggy one here....
I am going to London to watch my daughter swim in a Speciall Olympics swim meet. It is always so hot and humid in there - better remember my water!
B - protein shake
S - breakfast bites
L - turkey pepperettes and cheese
S - cottage cheese with fruit
D - some sort of chicken (lots in the fridge to deal with!)
S - not sure

So, I seem to have woken up with a cold. Or at the very least, a little headache, a sneezy and runny nose, and "I'm sick eyes". LOL Yay me!! Did a HUGE grocery shop yesterday, so today will be organizing and cooking my butt off for the week. Pissed off that they didn't have any fresh dill at Metro - I really wanted to make cucumber dill almond quinoa salad today. I'll pick some up at a different Metro tomorrow. Anyway....I was thinking for the purpose of other people reading this thread and not knowing what stage each of us are at, it may be helpful to post that. Just a thought.
Eats for today - RNY 6 years Post-op
B - Bengal spice tea, 1/2 cup trop 50 OJ, protein bar
S - more bengal tea, protein shake
L - kitchen sink egg bite (muffin size, not mini). I may have two if hungry.
S - coffee or tea, handful of green grapes
D - pork roast, brussel sprouts, baby red potato, beans

I made the salad yesterday and it will be gone by tonight. My man ate more than half of it last night. It's funny you had a hard time finding dill because when I picked mine up yesterday there were only 2 bunches and normally there is a ton. I wanted some fresh basil but it was all gross looking so left it there.
B - 2 slices bacon, 2 poached eggs
S - 2 slices of old cheddar, 2 slices of spicey italian salami
L - quinoa salad and chicken roast I didn't cook as I napped for 3 hours yesterday afternoon so it's for lunch today
S - likely a cup of chocolate almond milk heated with a shot of some SF syrup
D - smoked salmon gnocchi, every on the smoked salmon, light on the gnocchi, roasted brussel sprouts

Ours had every herb going but very low on dill and all the basil was already wilted and brown. The rosemary and parsley were super fresh and I need both of those too so picked them up along with the best looking of the 2 bunches of dill. Making smoked salmon sauce tonight and I always put lots of dill in there and then i will make another salad likely tomorrow with more dill and then coq au riesling tomorrow and that will be the end of my dill. I like to use them up within a few days of buying.

Karen, I've been sick since last weekend. Not too bad, but I'm having to use inhalers for my lungs and nasonex for my sinuses (I'm all hopped up on steroids now!). I'm also taking 2 g of vitamin C daily, which I think is helping. I hope you're feeling better soon. Sick sucks!
Taking my son to Toys R Us to get nerf gun bullets before going to church, then cleaning up a bit and going for a ride if it's nice out. Having BIL over for Sunday dinner, as usual.
Great idea about posting where we're at in our journey.

S - milky decaf tea, maybe a skim cafe au lait
L - turkey, veggies w/ tzatziki
S - cheese, 1/2 pear
D - BBQ chicken shawarma (not on a pita), green beans, a bite of potato
S - probably a protein drink

S- pineapple and cheese
L- tuna on bran crackers
S- tablespoon peanuts
D- spagetti and meat sauce measured portions of course
S- 1/24 of a large pizza if my son leaves any left by then (chicken, bacon, white sauce, very thin crust, jalapenos)
Doing laundry today since the office is closed and I can get to the machine without bothering anyone. Laundry hung outside smells the same anywhere in the world, simply lovely.
Oh, probably walking to the Rum boutique today, DS wants to get his souviner, a bar set, lots of sunscreen on.

Afternoon
Everyone's eats look great.....mine will be iffy today as Its the final day of the four day tournament and between golfing in the heat and the party tonight....and I plan on celebrating.....
My partner and I won the tournament - now we go back out this afternoon to shootout for the big money with all the other flight winners.....we are championship flight so will have to give strokes
B - protein shake
s - banana on course
l - ham/cheese and pickles on pumpernickel
s - Greek yogurt before the shootout
d - big party....so whatever is served plus a few low carb beer over ice
Starting the drive home tomorrow so wont post until wed
