OK - I got into the truck yesterday and did up the seatbelt on the passenger's side without thinking. Got out of the truck later, went to get back in and noticed the seatbelt extender was on the floor! One of the kids had been in, removed the extender and left it on the floor. I didn't even notice it gone! Whoooo Hooooo!

Then this morning, I reached for my seatbelt in the car (driver's side), and I reached around with my right hand and pulled it across my body. I NEVER do that, I always have to contort with my left arm and pull it out, then pull it across with my right. I did this without thinking as well - who knew?

So happy with my sleeve!

A HUGE congratulations is in order!

I, too, had huge issues with seat belts before surgery. It's funny how seat belts can make us so happy now. I still look down in amazement at how nicely it fits!

Hey Ann -- that's so great. I had my own NSV with the car and that was the day I had to re-adjust the rearview mirror. With so much less fat on the bum I was sitting lower and couldn't see out the rearview mirror -- not to mention I'm not jammed up against the steering wheel any longer. It truly is the simple things that can make us happy. Here's to more NSV's -- they are so exciting.
