What are you eating/doing today? (Wednesday)

Morning all :)

Just about to run out the office door to Council and realized I forgot to check in! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

B - coffee with milk, protein shake
S - nothing I'll be in Council
L - whatever the chef serves us today :)
S - handful of grapes, cup of tea
D - chicken breast, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, an apple

Have a good one!

Morning, everyone!
Another scorcher - but it does look like a proper summer day - and we should count every one of them as a blessing, shouldn't we?

 B - bowl of cereal w 1/2 banana, handful fresh strawberries, large coffee
 S - 1/2 c cottage cheese (1%) w fresh raspberries
 L - 2 turkey bites, 6 veggie crackers
 S - 1 apple, 21 g cheddar, mint tea
 D - salad w ham, orange slices, almonds, & mushrooms


Even 15 months post-op, I'm still dealing with extreme constipation from time to time. Looks like Colace and digestive teas are going to be my staple for the rest of my life.

 9 days till surgery 5 days left of preop diet and I am doing well

b slice of acient grains toast egg 1/2 cup sliced peppers
l 4 oz fish 1 cup salad greens
d 4oz fish 1 cup salad greens small baked potato

s slice of acient grains toast

Afternoon

My food is pathetic the past few days....lots of stuff going on so I am just not worrying too much....

Lets just say there are too many quick carbs...(bagel-muffin/cookie) and too few solid proteins

This too shall pass....and I will be back properly on this thread

I know we should be thankful for summer but not for this humidity.

B Grrek yougurt fresh bliueberries, coffee
s 1% cottage cheese with blueberies (love Ontario blueberries!)
l let over recipe with potabello mushroom and chicken, avocado and goat cheese
s hummus and melba toast
d salad with chicken
s protein shake

I found if I leave my stinky protein powder out all day it looses it's smell. Thank goodness

Your menu sounds SO yummy.....was wondering about the "quantities" and also, how long since your surgery and, what type??

Sorry this ended up in my junk mail.I had my surgery, RNY Jan 20, 2012.
My yogurt is 1/2 c for breakfast and cottage cheese was 1/4 cup for snack. The hummus is 1/4 cup as well or maybe a little less. I ended up with a salad and ate too much of it, about a cup. I was stuffed and went for a walk to ease the feeling
