One year anniversary

Today is my one year anniversary....how times flies...i feel better than ever but the only thing i am dealing with now is shingles i have a had them for a week now and very painful....other than that i am ok ......i havent been on any diabetes pills in a year or high blood pressure and that in itself is great....i wish i had done it when i was younger....not to mention my back doesnt hurt anymore either that is a amazing thing for me as i lived with major pain for very long time because of my weight problem i am out walking, hiking, swimming and much more without being out of breath..life is good......

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Congrats. It is great to get off meds isn't it. I am still on some but hope to lower them as well. Sorry to hear about the shingles. They really are very painful. I wish you a speedy recovery
