Someone kick me good - I was so stupid!
Do you really want everyone else to kick your ass for you?
Seems you're doing a wonderful job yourself :(
Stop it!! You're human. We make mistakes. Move on. Really!. Don't beat yourself up
But like everyone else has said, do go see your doc about that fainting episode. That's definitely a "Danger Will Rogers" sign.

No kicking allowed. That's old behaviour. In this, new, wonderful, fat free life, we learn from our mistakes and move on from them. No words like stupid, or angry. Words like learning, and moving on. That's what we need to focus on
You're a smart, beautiful, wonderful woman, who made choices that could have been better.
better check your bp now and then, drop in to shoppers drug mart or something like that, and get things checked out. Let your dr know about passing out.

Re slipping, with food, for good or ill, we have to follow a moderation not abstinence path.
In paleolithic days, they ate what they needed to get by and the body adapted the input to keep them healthy. One slip won't kill you, the body is designed to tolerate. So each day is a new day.
Please note also that in paleolithic days they didn't fly in oranges in the winter, or drink orange juice 2000 km from where it was grown, so goodness knows what malnourishment went on. Rickets for example was bad up until 1900's in England. Paleolithic diet my arse !
Do I seem to be going on about the paleolithic diet? My apologies.
The moderation vs abstinence path is, imho, harder to tread. Just keep on moving forward.
Best wishes.

I'm loving the compassionate response in this thread, and echo it!
You're not a robot. You won't be perfect all the time. This, like everything else post-ip, is a learning opportunity. Now you know that vacations are a time you need really good strategies to get through. Next time because you're paying attention, you'll be better equiped and will make better choices.

This might have been a teaching experience. You are still you. You are not invincible. The surgery only re-arranged your innards, did nothing for your brain. And whatever took you to your top weight, is sadly still alive. Time to get working on why you are eating what you are choosing. The real us, the one that needs food for whatever the reasons took advantage of the change of location, and the ability to use it's drug of choice. Back on track girl.
