Monday Weigh-In
Good morning everyone!!
Hope you had a terrific week.
I have decided Friday to start the next step in this journey and that is to maintain. I made the decision to stop losing. My husband made a very good comment to me last Friday and made me look outside the box and realize that he is right...especially once I get all the skin (neck to knees...lol) removed next year that I'm at a perfect weight for me. I don't care about the BMI telling me that I'm still overweight. It's not about the number for me and I'm soooo happy with my decision....and hey, losing 250lbs ain't too shabby!! lmao
Have a wonderful week my favorite peeps!

Good morning....
Normally I don't post anymore in the Monday morning weigh in post BUT...like Natalie...I have also been struggling with getting into the "normal" range of the BMI.
I am 5 feet tall and according to the BMI I "should" (don't you hate that word)..weigh under 127.
My starting weight was 227.5 and I had originally set my goal weight @ 145.
I then re-adjusted my goal weight to 135.
I am now @ 132.5 (but according to those dam BMI charts I am still "overweight".
BUT........
I am happy with how I feel
I am happy with the clothing size I fit into
I am happy with the amount of energy I have....
SO........ I shall to say......"it's not about the number" and those stupid BMI charts

That's awesome Lynette. I should be 134. I made it to that for like two days. I hover between 135-139 and I have yet to come to terms with that, because at 135 i'm out of "normal" range. I feel great at 135, and not great at 139. I'm amazed that I can tell the difference. When I was obese 4 pounds gained or lost didn't make a difference. Now the 4 pounds feels like 20 used to.
I too am happy with how I feel, with my energy level (I can run 10k.... RIGHT??), definitely happy with the clothing size I can fit in to
Still trying to work on being happy with how I look. I hear it comes years later.....so I shall sit and wait!

I had a huge drop this week which is different from my 2-3 pound loss norm. I am trying not to get obsessed with that magical 199 number but I feel that once I am below 210 all hell and excitement will break loose.
