There is no DIN number so can't be covered by drug plan.  HSA is about the only way to get it covered.  It's between $80 to $100 per week.

Wow, some of you sure were charged a lot for your Optifast!  Mine was $239 for 3 weeks from TWH - I ordered it in August.  I wonder what's up with the huge price differences?

My insurance didn't cover it, either.

In any case, considering what I used to eat, $239 for three weeks' worth of food, even when I threw in a couple of bottles of DV syrup and flavour extracts and boxes of chicken broth and made it $300, is way less than I was spending on groceries AND junk food AND eating out, etc...

It's not covered under my GWT insurance... my co-worker did go through the Optifast program at the OWMC and the cost for the Optifast can be claimed on taxes.

Just wanted to chime in and say it was not covered through my drug plan but I was able to get it covered through my HSA. For anyone who has an HSA available to them, look into this option.
