I guess they don't do much for a broken tailbone do they? I hope you feel better soon.

Ouch! I broke my tailbone years ago....and it hurt like a mofo!  Get yourself one of those little innertube things to sit on. It will help.  I hope you're feelig better soon!

Feel better!

I had OHIP approved Duodenal Switch surgery with Dr. Dennis Hong at St. Joseph's Hamilton on March 7th, 2012. Want more information on the DS in Ontario? Send me a private message!

Ouch! hope you feel much better soon. I finally figured out why skinny people bought those cushions that tie on chair seats. Who knew!

Oh how that must hurt.  So sorry that you're injured, and hope you heal quickly.  On the bright side, since you can't sit down, you'll be able to walk for miles and miles.  (Sorry, just trying to inject a little humour into your sore bum!)

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

I was going to say "Sending good vibes to your ass" then I thought, that just might be an arrestable thing to say. So instead, here is wishing you a speedy recovery. lol

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but the best thing to sit on is a board believe it or not. It's that you balance on the hip bones so that nothing soft hits the injury on your tailbone.

I fell down the stairs in nyloned feet when I was I was in nursing school, rushing to get ready one morning and broke mine.  What a sickeningly painful feeling.  I really feel for you.  Always keep a pillow handy.  For years and years I could not comfortably sit on a wooden chair.

Take good care of yourself.

Funny how serious weight loss can throw off your centre of gravity like that, eh?
