Well ready to the gym to see if there is going to be a Zumba class
if not..cardio and free weights
and then more shoveling...and more shoveling until the last little flake is off the driveway and walkway..

 Stay safe everyone...

snow shoveling... enlightened  and more snow shoveling... LOL.

And if I feel up to it.. build an igloo. We are really getting a ton of snow up here.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

I was going to do my 1 hour cardio but I did about 20 mins of shovelling this morning and barely made a dent. I'll need to shovel the rest when I get home so I think that'll be my workout! We have a really long driveway.

Shovelling snow.  Did an hour already and have to go back out and finish up what the damn plow did to my work. LOL

Lunges are really kicking my butt lately. Very simple, take a large stride keeping feet pointed forward. Watch that rear foot as they tend to turn, keep them straight. Then it's down as far as you are comfortable and back up again. Holding onto something near by for balance is okay, just don't use it to lift yourself. Start with 4 sets of 10 and increase to 4 sets of 15 when it becomes comfortable enough to do. You should be spent at the end of the last set. When it's easy enough to complete all four sets, you can add 20 pound weights. You're balance should be improving enough that you don't need to steady yourself. Movement is steady and controlled. As you improve on technique and stamina, you can increase the weight and depth of the lunge.

Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.
