I am so nervous today...my 1st case conference is tomorrow, I thought it was going to be simple, yeah right...first my ex stopped his support mid-November, then I get a couriered package notice of delivery on Christmas Eve, go to the depot (luckily I don't go till the 27th or he would have ruined my Christmas, nice, eh?) and what is it?? He's hired a lawyer who is handling the case??? WTF??? I know ever'yone has the right to one, but he is doing it at the expense of his children, instead of paying his support he's paying a lawyer??? The worst of my fears is that he's going after me selling the house, I cannot afford to buy him out, the kids have been through enough, my credit sucks large as I've had to use it to pay off some bills and have not been able to make any payments since, hmm..., mid-November, I get a monthly updated through Equifax, so I know it's really bad, so I won't qualify for re-mortgaging either...my best hope out of it is that I can get subsidized hopefully in the area we live in now so the kids aren't uprooted from their school and friends...He's making false statements as well...he's listing 2012 income??? Hello, it's just January 1st today, when he filed, it was December 21st...that's still 10 days left...I believe they go by your filed income tax, no? I can't believe he is trying to even pay less for his kids then he should, he doesn't contribute to their sports, dentist/doctor bills, daycare or even get them anything for their birthdays!! He's also saying I refused the supervised visit arrangement he made...no, I didn't refuse, I told him what was best for the kids and he didn't follow it...he seems to think it's okay to not see the kids for 7 months then just start seeing them again with no contact at all??? I went with the advice of Family & Children Services to set up a phone call schedule first, which I did, it was for two weeks then the visit, he replied that he didn't have a phone and that he had to go with whatever date his father (who was to supervise) had available??? if his family really cared about him and the kids, I think they would make themselves available, right? Sorry, getting long...I am just so filled with anger, fear, and sadness.
