HI was wondering if anyone has purchased any of the books out there for post surgery. I had a list of a few, Chapters sadly does not stock you can only order online.

I bought 'eating after weight reduction surgery'. It's a cookbook but has other info at the beginning and offers tips on when you can eat the recipes based on what stage you are at. I like the book though haven't tried too many recipes yet.
I went in to my local chapters and they ordered it for me and ship it free to the store for you to pick up. I admit though that had I flipped through it first I may have chosen another cause there are no pictures.

Hi,

I bought Weight Loss Surgery Guide and Program and Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies (not the cookbook one)by Marina Kurian,Barbara Thompson and Brian K Davidson.

I enjoyed both of them. The first one has recipes for after WLS as well.

I had to order them online too, got them alittle cheaper because you can order them used.

I have purchased: Mindless Eating as well as Weight Loss Surgery guide and diet book. I purchased from amizon as I found them to be much cheaper ?

Was there much info in the book besides Pre Surgery-types of Surgery and cooking stuff.. I know there is one that has info regarding exercise afterwards and a lot of other after surgery information stuff beside the cooking. Anyone else have any info on this tks Donna

Mostly pre-op stuff, lots on menus for the first few weeks after and there is recipes and a small section on changing behavior after surgery.
