wow..... it has been so busy at work I have found myself struggling to get in my workout..........

 

Will do the Jillian Michaels workout....

Yesterday was treadmill time.  Today is strengthening and conditioning.

Have company coming for dinner and planing on making homemade bread for them so workout is going to be short. Take the dog for a good walk

need to go shopping and will leave the car at the end of the parking lot every time. (= start lol)

take dog for a long walk.

I need to take this workout more seriously - well aware of it...  Having a hard time to get my butt going!

Spinning for me.

Running again on Monday!! Yay!!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Three weeks post op and doing fairly well :)  I have been walking for the past couple of days twice a day for an hour each time so roughly about 3-5km twice a day, the dogs are loving it :)  but my leg muscles are burning by the time i get home...lol

My goal for now is to keep walking my twice a day for 3-5km each time, and hoping in a while (a month or two) i will be able to incorporate running into my walks.

how long after surgery were you able to do regular exercises (workout tapes, yoga, weights....ect)?

I started working out at about 5-6 weeks post op. Walking is great for now. Always listen to your body and don't push yourself too hard when you're still healing.

Going to try my Physique 57 again (barre-style workout). The last few days I have not felt like jumping around or listening to loud music. It's not that its an easy workout, but its calmer and all the stretching is relaxing.
