how long after you meet the surgeon is your date for Surgery???

I met the surgeon Aug 7 2012 and got a call for surgery November 22, 2012

I went for Orientation - Oct. 22, 2012 and I'm going to meet with the surgeon on Tuesday. But I still don't have a surgery date yet. Hopefully I'll get one Tuesday.

Hey Cindy - Hamilton does not work that way.  You will be called with your surgery date - usually 2 - 3 mths away - depending on the OR schedules.  Sometimes they get extra OR time because other surgeons are on holidays.....  I had less than 2 weeks notice.

My surgeon appointment was July 8, 2011 and my surgery was Aug 14, 2011.  It all depends on the surgery schedules for the month.

I met the surgeon aug 30, 2012 and surgery was jan 11.  I had about 5 weeks notice for surgery 

I met the surgeon October 28 and surgery was February 15 2013 but in the last month or so things seem to be moving faster

I met the surgeon on March 12th, Phoned the clinic the next week and they told me that I would hear in June when my date is. 

Really hoping for an August date.
