FitnessPal -Tracking your food
Hi there
I was wondering if there was any vets and new post op ppl out there that would like to friend me on Fitness Pal ( Mandalious )
that has a open food diary.
Im trying to research, get an idea of what works for some people and what a day of food looks like.
Really its my curiosity of wondering what my future looks like ( other then bright and thin, hehe)
Feel free to add me, Im just getting back in the swing of tracking again. Trying to build in the healthy patterns now so the change isnt a struggle.
Trying to set myself up for success.
Thanks
M
I find all online food trackers to be difficult due to serving size restrictions. I use Calorie Count to analyze recipes and an excel spreadsheet to track my food. Fitness Pal and Fitbit are fine, they just don't tweak as much as I would like. A good spreadsheet can be manipulated into graphs, trends, etc. that can give you whatever information you want. I love my spreadsheet.
The first tab on the excel spreadsheet is a "food counts" page where I record the nutrition information (calories, protein, net carbs, fibre and fat) for everything I make/eat. Then I just have to copy and paste into days.
Once a month has gone by I am going to merge all the days into a smaller, more condensed format sheet for storage and start over.
