Hi Patm ... great to hear from you and thanks for replying.... my goodness this post of mine is "ancient" ... and sadly a get together never did happen. I remember days prior to surgery there'd be a bunch of us online every single day... made a great bunch of friends... the did the meet n greets.. then i guess life got in the way, covid happened and we all "disappeared" ....

Hi I am afraid I do not travel very far anymore. I live in the east end of Toronto if there are any Toronto people. A few people are meeting this Sunday with Dawn Stefani from Windsor. She runs a site on Facebook called

Ontario, Canada Bariatric Surgery Support Group

It would be nice to have meet-ups locally more often. At one time we met in Toronto on the Danforth.

Hey Lexxiblue,

Thank you so much for responding! I really appreciate it because I wanted to talk to someone who has had it done.

I did actually find a surgeon to do it and I am having it done on June 2, but I would really be interested into talking to you about what I should expect per your experience.

Did you just have a panniculectomy or a tummy tuck too? If you just had a panniculectomy - was the skin connected after removal made pretty tight so unless you gain a ton of weight back, there won't be any continued skin hanging?

Do you still have belly button? If you do is it kind of off to the side now?

I was told that I may have "dog ears" after surgery - is that the case with you?

Lastly what was the healing process like? Any issues with skin healing or infections? How long before you were able to go back to a normal life of work, exercise and just general body movement?

I would greatly appreciate all that you are willing to share and anything you would recommend.

Thank you very much.

FW

Between studying and rewriting drafts, it's easy to forget where certain phrases came from. While reviewing an assignment, I used a plagiarism checker https://studyagent.com/plagiarism-checker to double-check originality. It wasn't about cheating, just making sure my work was clean and properly cited.

How are you guys doing? Dating can definitely be a bit scary sometimes, especially when you're putting yourself out there and hoping for something real. But honestly, it's absolutely worth it in the end when you meet someone who just gets you. When I first joined Taimi I was full of those same fears -- overthinking everything, wondering if I was making a mistake, and doubting whether anyone would truly connect with me. But after my first two dates, all of that started to fade. I realized that most people are just as nervous and just as hopeful, and that made everything feel so much more natural

When grades came in and my GPA sat at 3.7, I started wondering how it stacked up against others applying for internships or grad programs. I searched is a 3.7 gpa good https://community.essaypro.com/academic-help-study-hacks/pos t/is-3-7-gpa-good-enough-for-top-schools-BbWKkquuTrZUpKz and found some helpful breakdowns that made me feel a lot more confident about where I stand.

Fall 2025 Clothing Exchange! November 9th, 2025. 1081 1/2 Pape Ave. 12 pm to 4 pm.

Clothing/Book Exchange Event Synopsis

The clothing exchange is a bi-annual event held in May and November for women of all ages and sizes. Comprised mainly out of the plus-sized and weight loss surgery (WLS) communities, the clothing exchange enables larger women to meet and trade/donate items, thereby helping to offset the need to purchase new clothing, especially for those whom have had WLS and are losing weight rapidly. As plus-size clothing tends to be more expensive, this twice yearly event gives larger women the opportunity to:

a) Recycle clothing that is no longer required or desired,

b) Obtain newer items to update current wardrobe, without the pressure of salespeople,

c) Provide a charitable service to the community by donating unclaimed items at the end of the event,

d) Meet like-minded women and engage in companionship without distractions from regular day to day life.

While the event is listed as an "exchange", in actually, there is no onus on anyone to bring clothing or books to "trade". Unlike a true exchange where an item is swapped for another like item, this event focuses more on the 3 R's of a green planet philosophy. This event has always been free to participants. Water and coffee, if available, is provided and sometimes light refreshments.

Participants are welcome to bring healthy snacks to share if they wish, but again, there is no onus on anyone. This event is alcohol and drug-free. Women are asked to leave children, pets and husbands at home (with the exception of helping drop off or pick up bags) to enable privacy for the women who wish to try on clothing. Women are also asked to only bring CLEAN ITEMS IN GOOD REPAIR. Past events have proven to be well attended with the average number being around 20 women. This event was held annually but has since grown to bi-annually due to demand. Past donations have ranged from 3 to 32 large bags of clothing at the completion of event.

Agreed. Getting started with freelance web article writing is a great way to improve your skills and earn a little on the side. I'd also suggest practicing regularly and using helpful tools along the way. For example, a paragraph writer can help shape your ideas into clear, structured content, especially when you're just starting out. It's all about building confidence through consistent writing.

I've found that paragraph-generator.com stands out among tools like Quillbot and Jasper. It creates content that already feels humanized and often doesn't need any further editing.
