7 1/2 yrs out. Had a regain of about 20 lbs. but my lowest was not healthy. Had complications from a surgery not wls related. Was fun to fit size 6-8 for awhile but much happier in 10-12. HAVE BEEN STABLE WEIGHT FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS. vERY HAPPY WHERE i AM RIGHT NOW. i DON'T FEEL DEPRIVED. hAVE FEW FOOD INTOLERANCES AS LONG AS STAY AWAY FROM HIGH AMOUNTS OF SUGAR.

I had my surgery at Toronto Western at 2:00pm on a Thursday and was discharged by 11:00am on the Friday. I had no complications and followed the nurses instructions to the letter. I used the timer on my phone to make sure I sipped my water every 15 minutes.

My "roomate" was violently vomiting from drinking undiluted apple juice which terrified me as I had to listen to her being ill all night. I think she stayed in hospital 3 nights.

I'm booked into Toronto Western for the RNY on June 11 (a few appointments still to go)- Question - I know they say two days but does that mean, for instance, I check in at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, have my surgery booked at 11 a.m. - am I in for Tuesday night and Wednesday night? or when they say "two days" do they mean I could be discharged Wednesday evening? Just want to plan ahead as I need to book hotel rooms for family etc. This, of course, is given that everything goes fine.

Good morning :)

CC I hope your furbaby feels better today!!

We don't have any real plans for the weekend... We are trying to rearrange our basement but it's slow going. VV has a sale on Monday so I think I will go to that. I need some summer stuff... Darn this weight gain. I cannot get my act together right now and it is literally and figuratively weighing me down.

Yesterday I took the little nugget to see our friends and we went to the St. Jacob's market. I didn't get much but I did get her a little pair of pink sunglasses which she promptly threw on the ground lol. We will work on that.

Post-op four years and one month.

Breakfast - PB and banana

Snack - protein bar

Lunch - leftover chicken sandwich

Snack - carrots, cheese, pepperettes

Dinner - leftover BBQ chicken

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

'morning....tired of grey rainy days, enough already! Hard to get motivated when it's like this outside.

QOTD: Tonight is a surprise 50th Birthday Party for my brother and sister (twins). First we will go to Wing Night at the Legion and then to party - that's the ruse to get them to our friends house, they live real close to the legion. No plans other than that.

B - turkey kielbasa sandwich

S - 1/2 protein bar

L - rotisserie chicken with cucumber and red pepper sticks

S - ??

D - wings (I like to make my own wing sauce with Franks and Butter but I can't sauce them all because nobody else likes it and I can only eat like 3 or 4 depending on their size)

then PARTY!!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Good morning everyone. Welcome to your weekend. Our fur baby was feeling sick last night so I might stay close to home and keep an eye on him. I'll try to get more paperwork done. No plans for the weekend because we have to get our taxes done.

QOTD: Any fun plans for the weekend?

The eats today at 4 years 9 months post-op are:

B. Buckets of decaf

Topic: RE: Severe pain on both sides of abdomen

I've been dealing with a similar situation since 9 months post op (December 2017) I've been in & out of the ER multiple times. My pain is located in my upper right abdomen and the pain shoots into my back. At times I can manage the pain with a T3 & a gravol, but have to go to the ER when the pain is so bad I can't keep any pain meds down. I've had 5 ultrasounds/ nuclear biliary scan and this week I had a CT, all with 0 findings. I go next Tuesday for exploratory surgery to figure out what's going on. My first few visits the ER doctor said it was classic gall bladder pain, but with each ultrasound & bloodwork showed no signs of stones or disease. After a year or so I decided to contact my bariatric surgeon to see if he could help me. He's been amazing & has taken my pain seriously. I hope he finds the cause of my pain.

I hope you get some answers, maybe skip your family doctor & see if you can see your bariatric surgeon. Wishing you the best, Sonja

My suggestions would be to make yourself accountable, track and plan your food, set yourself a regain limit. Maintenance is hard and a daily struggle. Remember where you were when you started this journey and promise yourself you will not give in and undo all of your hard fought accomplishments.
