Happy Friday fabulous foodies. Well another crazy day in the office yesterday but today is a bit less hectic probably due to the rain. I don't have anything excited planned for the weekend except I do have to get some housework done. I have a celebration of life to attend on Sunday.
QOTD: Do you have any favorite things to buy in the U.S. that you don't find here? I had a co-worker pick me up some of the various Protein Shakes and they even had an Equate brand with the exact same nutrition at a much better price but I haven't tried them yet. She also picked me up some SF Hershey Choc Syrup and Smuckers SF grape jelly. I'm heading over in a couple weeks just to do a little shopping so any suggestions would be apprecitated.
B - greek yogurt
S - 1/2 protein shake
L - chicken with swiss sauce
S - turkey pepperette
D - I feel like breakfast so maybe eggs and turkey sausage
S - 1/2 protein shake
Enjoy the weekend and beware of April Fools Monday ;)

Welcome to your weekend. Right now it's sunny. Let's hope it stays that way. Today I am going to the gym and doing a few things around the house. Tomorrow I'm going to have a me day, I really need one. Might go to the AGO, who knows. Whatever my heart fancies. DH can do stuff around the house ;).
QOTD: Do you have anything interesting planned this weekend just for you?

It was so empty today... I heard several people comment on it. It was neat because they had fires burning outside -- I love the smell of campfire. Takes me back to my childhood at the cottage.
We got our fish, some pepperettes, and some maple syrup for DH. We also got lunch there -- I got a cheeseburger that lasted for three meals.
Le hug to your le sigh

St Jacobs market is beautiful in the spring when they have the spring bedding plants everywhere. I like to go early on a Thursday. Saturday has too many people for me to handle comfortably.

Too bad you weren't closer,,, we are just heading into busy season so could use an extra body in the office even if just to answer calls. I felt like pulling my hair out every time it would ring because I wasn't getting any of my paperwork done.

Hello Jenn,
I would say that all people lose at different rates. I did not lose the 25+ pounds that first month like alot talk about. I seem to stay at about a 8-10 lb loss monthy but March has been terrible and the scale doesn't seem to move so it may only be 5 lbs this month (4th month out of surgery). I posted something on the "what are you eating today" thread about this, some very smart ladies advised me to start measuring each month because the progress might show in the tape rather than the scale and also to take pictures in the same outfit monthly. I didn't do this from the beginning but it might be a thought for you.
As long as you are following the program I'm sure you will do wonderful.... at whatever rate that may be.

So tired and uninterested today. Thinking about taking tomorrow as a vacation day but hate to waste a day for nothing.
No work for me to do today makes for a very long day.
Le sigh.
Good morning :)
CC, that's too bad and annoying that they messed up your lawn. I was walking the little nugget outside at the in-laws new house and the stroller was leaving little trails in the grass... Definitely muddy season.
Today I think we might attempt a trek to the St. Jacob's market. I haven't been in forever. DH wants to pick up some fish to try.
Post-op four years.
Breakfast - nut bar
Snack - banana and Greek yogurt
Lunch - tbd
Snack - apple and PB
Dinner - BBQ chicken
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
Good morning everyone. Yesterday was not the best. The workmen did some damage (not intended). We now have a 500ft dirt road going through our lawn. The grass is torn up and rutted. Their machines did a number in the soft spring soil. There is going to be a lot of raking, leveling and sodding in my future. My poor back. It is what it is and we will have to deal with it. Hoping today is much better.
I am planning on going to the gym today, and hoping to get some errands done. Truthfully, today feels like a day where I just want to stay in bed with the lights out, but stuff needs to get done.
QOTD: Guys, I've got nothing this morning so it's a free for all. Ask anything you like. I may or may not answer, lol.
The eats today at 4 years 8 months post-op are:

D. Scrambled eggs with cheese, sauteed peppers, the same bacon (I made the whole pack), steamed asparagus
S. Hot cocoa before bed
1 hour at the gym.
Have a great day everyone.
