I just signed up a week ago for aquafit. I had no idea what that was until now.
your right about playing the game actually already replaced two of my meals per day with protein powder and still had a healthy meal for dinner. I've actually started to try to take it like one block at a time and increase every couple days.
I don't have any co-morbidity, but my bmi is high enough that it doesn't matter.
I should have mentioned that I hadn't been smoke free for six months. I misunderstood the qualifications, and I didn't know I needed to be six months smoke free before starting the program, and not six months before the surgery date. I'm okay in the front now, that's why I didn't mention it
Either way she said I had to quit smoking for longer than I had, and complete a medically supervised diet that I could get documentation from, then I could get re-referred in a year.
I'm surprised to hear that you got denied for that reason. I never had to be on a medical supervised diet before hand. Do you have any co-morbidity? Perhaps there is more than one reason why you we're denied. I would hope what you are doing is enough. I went through the Windsor clinic so I'm not sure about the process in your area. Just be honest with them and good luck.
I get my results online from LifeLabs. Call the lab where you get your bloodwork done and see if they offer that service. Reading your results online will also give you the reference range for normal values and you can see how close you are. You may need additional supplements if any of your values are low or near low. Many deficiencies can cause brainfog.
The foods that are derailing you are slider foods. If you don't make changes now, all of your hard work will be for nothing. Not being judgey, just concerned. Please join us on the what are you eating thread. It's a way for you to plan your meals and be accountable to yourself. We are here to give you support whenever you need it.

We went to the mall the other day and at least three stores were closing - Payless, green earth, and one I can't remember.
I'm tempted to send them back for lunch ;)
Not too many go to the mall nowadays. They are quickly becoming current day ghost towns.
Lunch !!!!!!!! I don't think it was me?????. Someone needs to make it up to you AND the Little Nugget. Not to point fingers.

Your answer to the QOTD sounds wonderful.

So I was denied about a year ago, because I hadn't done a medically supervised diet in the last six months. So I've been doing weigh****chers, (with very little success), and I'm just wondering what they want as documentation goes, weigh****chers is almost all on the app now, I only went to a couple meetings. What will I need to provide them? If they don't accept that, can I just submit my diet journaling? I don't want to have to wait another year to be referred again. Is there anything else I need document wise?
(I was denied from the Guelph clinic, but this time it could be either Guelph or Hamilton clinic that assesses me)
Good morning -- in just under the wire ;)
I'm at my mom's house for a couple days with the little nugget. It is even more challenging than I expected. She did not sleep well last night. We went our for breakfast this morning and then to the hardware store for a couple things -- mainly a nightlight for tonight. They had those salt lamps which are great. We have one at home. But this one didn't have a dimmer switch, just on/off, so that wouldn't work as well through the night.
QOTD: I love having a nice dinner, either at home or out, some quiet time, and maybe a little TV. We are both homebodies so we like being at our house. We used to do date nights at the mall, go for dinner, and then wander around the shops and look at puppies at the pet store -- even after we got puppy 1. They closed the pet store, which I totally understand (puppy mill dogs, etc.), but now we don't really go to the mall.
