Good morning lovely peeps. Ginny I am sorry that your knee is giving you issues. Tylenol is useless for me knee when it gives me trouble.
This cold weather is such a shock after being south. Yesterday I drove to pick up some jugs of water and the water shelves were empty. I ended up buying some small bottles. I will have to do inventory in the fridge and freezer because I'm not sure what we have to eat, lol. So far I've figured cheese and eggs for dinner. DH blew out the driveway this morning so I'm buddled up and staying inside in the warmth for now. Me and the fur baby are getting reacquainted.

Good morning peeps. It sounds like you girls got hit harder by the snow than we did. There was probably a few inches yesterday afternoon but then it turned to rain by about 6 pm so most of it disappeared and we were left with ice once the temperature dropped again.
Ughh on the knee Ginny. Hoping the doctors can figure out what is injured and get you on the road to recovery. I'm sure feeling sidelined doesn't sit well since you are so committed to your workouts :(
B - greek yogurt
S - boiled egg
L - 2 chicken skewers, SF jello with protein powder
S - 1/2 protein shake
D - chili
S - 1/2 protein shake
Plain ol water and vitamins.

Good morning :)
Ginnny, sorry to hear about your knee. I hear you on the Tylenol... Other than a minor headache it doesn't do much.
I was out shoveling some of our walkways. We live on a corner lot so we have a lot of sidewalks, but we also use both our front and back walkways. Back is our main entrance, front is for mail and visitors.
I have so many errands to do but I think I will wait until the snow is a bit more managed. DH will have to snowblow the driveway and sidewalks tonight. I guess I will do more packing today :) my mom is coming down Friday for a week to help with the little nugget so I can get stuff done asap.
Post-op three years and ten months.

Good morning Gang! Well that's quite a dumping of snow we got last night. I don't mind the snow but this bitter cold with windchill can shove off any time.
I've been sidelined from the gym because of my knee. I have no idea what I did to it but it's quite swollen and aches constantly. I may hit the gym tomorrow morning and do my weight routine (minus legs) but I'll feel like a tool hobbling around the gym. I was to the dr yesterday and have another appoint the Sports Medicine clinic this coming Monday as well so hopefully between the two them they can figure out what I've done to it. Sucks when all you can take is Tylenol which really doesn't do a darn thing. She did send me for xray yesterday but I know it's not the bone(s) so whether I've torn something or what who knows.
B - 2 eggs, slice of cheese, 2 strips of bacon
S - 175 gr Skyr w. 2 oz blueberries
L - chili
S - pepperette, cheese stick
D - steak with greek salad
Have a great day everyone!
Are you home? This snow must feel like a shock!!
Congrats on your surgery date! I can't comment on the veggies as I just had broth and optifast!
However I can comment on Dr. Klein! Him and his team are amazing and took great care of me from start to finish! Humber River in general is amazing!
Congratulations! My date is on the 19th. I'm out of Toronto Western. I start OptiFast tomorrow!??? Lucky you get to have greens. I can only have clear liquids, broth, jello, tea & coffee, popsicles & all must be sugar free. Best of luck to you!
That is exciting news about the offer Meg. Fingers crossed that everything goes the way you want it to.
As for the kitchen, I agree to paint it neutral and have accent pieces for pops of colour. You can take the accent pieces with you to your new house, .
I hope your little pup is feeling better today.
Hibernating is what I have planned for today. Too cold, plus I have to get things done at home.

Hi guys,
My surgery date is February 20/19. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. My Optifast starts January 30/19 for the full 3 weeks. Allowed 1 cup of greens a day. What greens did you find most satisfying? Any tips or tricks to get through the 3 weeks? Also, my surgeon is Dr. Klein at Humber. How long were you in the hospital? I know it depends on how smoothly everything goes, just curious.
Any words of encouragement is very much appreciated!
xo

Good morning
Sorry to hear you are stressing but with so much house hunting as well as trying to prep your own house for sale while caring for a baby would get to anyone! You should definitely get a rest in whenever the little one is napping,,,,you DON'T want to end up sick. Hoping you find "the" house that suits your family very soon ;)
I would say to go with a fairly neutral paint for the kitchen since it's easier for buyers to imagine their own spin on décor if its not something too bold. Lighter colours also make the room look bigger! Mine is a medium taupe and I have changed the décor a few times since I bought the house 8 years ago.
B - greek yogurt
S - boiled egg
L - 2 chicken skewers
S - 1/2 protein shake
D - chili if I get it made in IP
S - 1/2 protein shake
Bundle up - snow is on the way today!
