This was my biggest "WOW" moment..."FART" moment on the Men's Forum.  About 5 months post op...getting into the bathtub...The same tub I've gotten into for the last 17 years.  I'm wondering..."Why is my tub taking so long to fill up...It never use to take this long??"

haha  cause there was noBODY taking up all the space!  too funny!

I never even thought of that!  Good point and how wonderful that feeling must have been!!!  I can't wait for those times to come.  (Surgery date is 10/7/10).  Nervous, but excited.

I'm planning to mark the bathtub with a wax pen.. a fill-to line and mark my starting "displacement" mark!  Then I'll be able to monitor my progress as the water starts reaching for the lower line~ 

On my WLS journey I really haven't wanted to size my wedding rings until I get to goal. To get by, I have been buying temporary bands from Walmart. Because it's nothing fancy, I wouldn't be heartbroken if flies off my finger. Well the other day my Hubby & I were getting a replacement and he said why don't you get the gold one (more expensive). I said "What for, I'm not going to be wearing it that long". Well the horrified looked from the girl behind the counter was priceless. We all had a laugh when I explained to her that no I would not be kicking my Hubby to the curb anytime soon, I just have been losing a great deal of weight!
