Good morning everyone!

Hope you're having a great Tuesday so far. I made a great casserole for dinner last night. I just layered Italian sausage, cauliflower rice, tomato sauce and cheese. Unfortunately I only had old cheddar. It would have been really awesome with mozzarella.

We need to lighten things up a bit I think so for today, what's the corniest joke you can think of- the kind a 5 year old would tell. Feel free to google one if you can't think of any.

Q: Which dinosaur knows the most words?

A: The thesaurus

I know, it's a groaner. Lol. :)

Menu:

Vanilla Premier Protein with decaf coffee - not sure when I will have this- maybe mid morning

B: Crustless quiche

L: Leftover sausage casserole

D: Probably chicken

Oh, I went for a walk at lunch yesterday and my normally comfortable shoes rubbed like crazy! 2 huge blisters on the soles of my feet and more on my toes. It's going to rain today but I will be sidelined anyway.

Have a great day!

Good morning! Thanks for the Google suggestion. I am terrible about remembering jokes.

QOTD: My husband was an attorney prior to retirement so I like Lawyer jokes. This is one of those that is supposed to be from actual testimony:

Lawyer: You say the stairs went down to the basement?
Witness: Yes.
Lawyer: And these stairs, did they go up also?

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese, English muffin and peanut butter

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: leftover beef and chicken kabob

S: nut thins and cottage cheese; protein chips

Q: What do elves learn in school?

A: The elf-abet.

Today's menu will be a free-for-all. I'm going to my sister's house to help get the floors finished. We have to replace some of the floor joists before we can actually put down the plywood floors and it is back breaking work for 2 women pushing 50. We'll get it done, but it's gonna be hard work. LOL! We did the dining room floor last week and it took me almost 3 days to recover.

Since the kitchen appliances aren't installed yet - they're in boxes in the living room - we'll have to rely on fast food stuff. I'll have lots of water on hand, and food will likely be fried chicken and cheese sticks. I'll have a protein bar for snacking and I'm bringing a frozen premier protein to drink once it thaws.

Good morning.

Surgery went great yesterday.  Haven't had to have any narcotics yet and I am in no pain.  It is amazing!  Dr. just came by and said I should get to leave around lunch time and head home.

QOTD:  I can't wait to get home and hear her corny joke that she tells repeatedly.

Knock knock, whos there?, interrupting cow, interrupting cow who, as she interrupts me with MOOOOO

Menu:  sip sip siping on water and protein shake supposed to be aiming for 60 cc of each per hour (4 medicine cups), but so far just getting 3 in an hour.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Love the interrupting cow!!! My god-daughter (4) was here in the summer to visit and that was her favourite joke. We heard it all day everyday. Hilarious to hear her try to say "interrupting". Thanks for the memory and smile.
