Today I am stealing away from meetings and all other things army related and getting my hair done, is it sad I am excited to go get 2 hours of someone pampering me? LOL

Little kids are still sleeping this morning and Tim is up and gone and the teen is in the shower it is queit at my house right now - I like it!

Good morning, family!! Hope this finds everyone healthy, and their week going well. As for me, I'm walking less like Frankenstein, and can ALMOST walk "standing up"..and almost without screaming/moaning, when I first get up...

Busy work day ahead..but busy makes the day go faster, and faster means I get back to my warm, comfy bed quicker..not good to wish my life away-is it?? Nah-it's only temporary. I have Christmas parties Thurs-Fri-Sat night, so it's my last night to be a slacker for awhile...

Continued prayers for SAUNDRA's daddy, MEGGIE and her family, VIVIAN's son and friends, DANNI's soldier, Joseph, and any unspoken requests...

My woo hoo is that I went jean shopping and ALL the size 16s I tried on fit me -not bad for a woman who used to be a size 32

My woohoo for the day is I just finished my brisk 2 mile walk!  One of these days I'll get up early enough to do the 3 mile walk again, but for now 2 miles is good.

Our City Secretary's husband passed yesterday morning at home.  He had a history of heart issues and COPD.  Inquest calls are bad enough but get a little harder if you knew the person or know the family.   Long as today is not like yesterday - I'm good.

Morning all!  Posting before the day gets away from me.  Busy week so far, but overall good.  Yesterday we got the carpets cleaned (for free, thank you apartment management) and they look much better.  I also went and saw a Retinal specialist for some testing needed before my doc starts me on a new med.  Everything looks perfect, so next week I'll talk to the doc and see what he wants to do.

Today I've got one meeting on the schedule right now, but I have a feeling more will pop up and I've got lots of project work to get done.  Tonight is Bible study which is so rejuvinating for me.  Tomorrow I HAVE to get my Christmas decorations out and start putting things up, and I need to wrap presents and get some into the mail.

Real quick hop on today, it's going to be BUSY!  Lots going on at work including ANOTHER software conversion let's hope this one works properly.  I have a therapist appt today at noon, lots with kiddo stuff going on, sister stuff (hospital and possibly taking the baby early, godchild's graduation coming up, maybe new duties at work that better come with a raise or I'm not doing it (how you like that rebelling, LMAO).

Prayers for all in need, boss just got in add in a meeting this morning to the busy agenda.

Hey You Guys!

Been lurking the last few days, but today my kids are benchmark testing so I have a few extra minutes.

Blake had an emergency trip to the pediatric opthamologist on Monday, His dad was hanging clothes up and Blake grabbed a hanger and scratched his face all the way to his eye. His dad wasn't sure if it had touched his eye or not so we made an appointment to get it checked over. Luckily it missed his eye. The doctor said that had he hit it that it would have caused permanent damage. Right now we are keeping the area moist with Neosporin and Vitamin E oil, I am hoping that the scratch doesn't scar, The poor little dude looks like he's been through the war. 

I have an ARD meeting to dismiss a student at 10 this morning, It's always bittersweet to let one of my "babies" spread their wings. I've worked with this kddo since he was in pre-k. He's now in 5th grade.
