Topic: RE: Sorry if this has been asked before...Individual Insurance that covers Gastric Sleeve?

Hi Natalie,

I don't have answers for you....the only thing I can say is call the individual companies and see what they will cover and won't cover.     Also if you don't already know this most bariatric surgeon's have cash pay prices that are greatly reduced and include everything.    Most also have a company where you can get a low or interest free loan ( It's like purchasing a car and paying a car payment ).   That could possibly be a solution for you if you can;t find affordable insurance that will cover it.    You are much too young sweetie to live at almost 400 lbs.    I'm praying that this happens for you.   I'm proud of you for wanting to change your life at such a young age.    Good luck to you.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I am seriously considering the gastric sleeve procedure and I am trying to figure out where to begin. Currently, I do not have health insurance but I am in the process of shopping around for care. I went to healthcare.gov and it seems like every plan didn't cover bariatric surgery. I am 10 pounds away from hitting 400. I am 26 and do not want to die this young. Anyways are there any private/individual insurance that covers bariatric surgery if you live in the state of Texas?

Saw this and first thought is the Collin Street bakery.  Stopped at the outlet on I-45 Sunday so DW could pick up a fruit cake for one of her friend's husbands.  Busy place.

Nothing spectacular on the agenda for today.

Go do your thing.

Topic: WEDNESDAY GRATEFUL POST

Good Wednesday Everyone,

Today is going to be a busy one for me. I'm going to go to my oldest son's home and do "Mimi duties". I going to make cookie dough to take for us to bake cookies and we are going to make a craft....snowman out of a milk jug. I know my 2 yr. old granddaughter will be thrilled. She LOVES doing crafts. So very grateful for my granddaughter and for her sister who will arrive in March. Grateful for my precious husband who I love with all my heart and my other 2 sons. Grateful for my WLS, OH, God in my life and my faith in him. Grateful for life in general even though at times life is very hard....I know that there is nothing that I can't conquer with God by my side. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today. Have a super blessed day.

Hugs and blessings ~~~~ Vivian

Four hours in wood auditorium seat yesterday left my deflated fanny numb!  Treadmilling helped restore the feeling but still sore.

Work and supper out tonight.

Fake it till you can make it!
