Saundra....you and the others on the ship were in our thoughts and prayers when we heard that someone from Presbyterian Hospital was on your cruise. I am leaving on the Magic in less than 2 weeks. Glad ya'll had a good time and if you've got to miss a port....Cozumel is the one to miss unless it's your first cruise. This will be my 4th time there. I know pretty much any cruise that direction hits Cozumel. Glad your back safely and sorry your niece had a fender bender in your car.

Good morning!
Yep, that was our cruise. Thursday morning they informed us that lab supervisor was on board and attempts to fly her out from Belize was not successful and ensured us she showed no signs or symptoms. Since we left Belize late the plan was to arrive in Cozumel at 10 instead of 8 but once there we were not giving clearance to port, can't say I blame them. Carnival gave each of us 200.00 onboard credit, refunded port fees plus 50% off next cruise. DH hit the casino. We enjoyed the cruise and think Carnival did a good job taking care of us.
When we got to Galveston learned Dad was admitted to hospital on Monday and released on Friday and he or his lady friend did not call my nieces. I let my niece use my car while gone and she had a fender bender. Got to sister yesterday and truck would not start so they had to take us home.

So glad I took today off.

Hopefully the ridership will come up and Saundra is back from her trip. One question for her - was that your cruise the Ebola lady was on? If it was three words or six actually either "small claims court" or "class action status" for the lawsuit they woman ought to be hit with for ruining everyone's cruise. DW commented she'd tossed her overboard and told the Captain to keep on going.

So glad that friday is finally here. Everyday of our lives we have something no matter how big or small to be grateful for. Today I am so grateful for my life the last 9 yrs. since my WLS. Has life been perfect....NO !!! But it is what it is. Everyday I do chose to be grateful for all that God throws in my direction. Today I am grateful for my WLS, OH, all the different forums, everyone asking questions here and the one's giving answers. Grateful for my family, friends, health, furbabies, grateful for the energy that I now have and that I can walk and walk and not get tired. Grateful for my WLS journey although it hasn't been perfect it's been good !!! PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today. Have a blessed weekend.

You might want to post this on the plastic surgery forum here on OH. I can tell you who I used if you'd like but I was NOT pleased with the results at all. My advice to you is do LOTS of research on whatever surgeon you consider. Talk to some of his patients ( several years post op PS ) and see if they are pleased with their results. If I were going to do a PS today....I would go through SouthWest Medical Center in Dallas. THey are half the price of regular PS in the area. I've seen their work and they do a great job. Good luck on your search.

Metaphorically that is a good thought but if you are bringing Phideaux to the Cotton Harvest in Kerens tomorrow keep him/her on a leash please. And don't forget a plastic bag or two.
Nothing exciting from here other than getting ready for tomorrow. Need to carry the Mule to the car wash if I'm going to use it. Have to finish a case to go to the DA with all the rest that are going today.
