Or lose shoe sizes!  I was so excited to not have to have my big ol 10s anymore, but here I am with head in the kitchen and my big ol feetz out in the hall.  :}

Seriously...my feet have always been long and fairly boney, but I hoped against all odds that somehow my size 11 feet would shrink...no luck as of yet. My mother should have done me a favor and bound them when I was a youngin... (of course I'm kidding, no PSAs about the horrors of feet binding, please! lol)

Well, my feet have shrunk, so I guess I have that going for me :)  I used to be a 6->6.5 before gaining so much weight.  I got up to a 7->7.5  Now I'm around a 6.5->7 :)

 yeah but you WERE that size beforeish...so I can understand why you shrunk.  Now why I shrunk is a myster since I was a size 10 for 25 years...but I'm loving my 9 1/2 but I really loved my cute 10s

Ok, good point :)  Although it is still weird to me that my shoe size changed.  The one area that has never been "fat" for me is the area below my knees.  I have curiously small ankles and feet, given the size of the rest of my body :)

So I MUST have gotten YOUR shrinkage.  I was a size 10 since I was 12 years old.  I didn't think there a chance in hades I would shirnk.  Well I am the proud owner of a **** load of size 10s I'm trying not to give up, and a few 9 1/2 that I'm in love with...

I am over 10 months out and I still get hungry too. Its not like I was pre op but it still exists, although its much easier to deal with then before. Its not acid or head hunger....its real and my tummy growls at me ;)

I was hoping I was gonna be one of the lucky ones who never feels hunger...... but it doesn't change how I feel about my surgery decision......I LOVE MY SLEEVE ♥

My doctor told me that 70% of VSG patients lose their hunger due to a reduction in the ghrelin hormone responsible for hunger.

I'm fortunate to be in the 70% category. I have not been hungry since my surgery 2 years ago. It's been easy to lose 100% of my excess weight and keep it off when you're not hungry all the time.

Prior to the VSG I was hungry and thinking about food all the time. Since the surgery I'm not hungry and often have to remind myself to get my protein in.

I think that the plan my doctor ga\ve me for post-op eating contributes to my lack of hunger. The plan calls for eating protein first, limiting carbs to less than 40 grams per day and drinking a minimum of 64 oz. of liquids. I'm 2 years post-op and at my goal but I still follows these instructions.

Eating dense protein like beef and sea food keep you full with a small amount and for a longer period of time than when you eat soft proteins like Greek yogurt and cheese.

Good luck,
George

I have head hunger like crazy. But if I keep myself busy I can forget to eat.
