Week 1 and Day 1 and Couch to 5k.

There is a slower C25K if you're interested. I can dig up the link if you'd like.

Maybe? I am guessing it is exercise plan. I am working with a trainer 3 days a week and flying solo one day a week. Started yoga last week too that I am doing on Sunday evenings. So yeah, I would like to hear about what y'all are talking about. Thanks.

My suggestion - NEVER GIVE UP!!

It's hard as heck - i know. I work out a lot, and I'm probably a little bit too heavy to be running, but I ran one mile the other day in 13:00 min - having been 420 lbs before and couldn't walk 1/8 mile, I can personally tell you that if you keep going, you will improve and be running in no time. I regularly walk/jog several miles and you just build up slowly and surely. Don't push toooo hard and hurt yourself or burn out. I think C25K is a good pace but don't be afraid to repeat weeks if you have to.

I have to give you a big CONGRATS for finishing a tough workout though - awesome!!!

Good for you!  It definitely works.  I used it to begin running and am set to run my first marathon.

If you have problems early on, just repeat the week.  If you are truly starting from a point of no exercise, I would recommend repeating the first few weeks before moving on.  But you will be surprised how quickly your body will adjust.  Just make the commitment to complete the entire program!!

Great job! I just ran my first 5K on Sept 17th and can't wait for my next one! I started out with a couch to 5K program and then just kind of winged it at the gym over the weeks and months leading up to my run.

Turned out great!
