I am waiting for my VSG date and have been approved by BCBSIL . Nothing can stop me. BUT, I have big boobs to match this big bod and my hubby really loves them. Before I gained weight I was a 36C now I am a 50DDD.

After this is said and done, and I am a skinny minny, will the boobs be deflated and have to be rolled up like a crepe to be placed in my bra?

My husband is sad to see them go. He makes mention of it frequently.

What should I expect in the boob department?

Thanks to all *****spond.

When I have lost significant amounts of weight in the past (up to 50-60 or so lbs), my bra size changed about a cup size.

I am now a 44DD/DDD (depending on the bra).  They are huge and they are saggy (ewww, sorry for the TMI).  With all of the extra skin there, I don't know if I could even get down to a C.  My frame size is large, so 38 is probably the smallest band size I could get to.

It's funny that I had this SAME conversation with my husband last night.  He is more worried about my butt getting smaller!  He doesn't really care about the girls :)

From all my years here, and various other forums, I have read/participated in this topic over a 100 times it seems. From my observations, and it's just that my observation, women who had great boobs before getting fat, usually have the best results for after weight loss. For me, I only had great boobs because I was fat. I remember being this size back in junior high and I was a 32/34B. After gaining weight, giving birth at 21 yrs of age, gaining even more weight, and then major weight loss with VSG, I am left with 32B boobs and yep, I have to practically roll them up to get them to look decent in a bra. My husband doesn't care, he wasn't/isn't a boob man. I personally want new ones, and will get them some day.

Mine only grew when nursing and when I was fat. Now they look like raisins with nipples.

I'm buying new boobies before the holidays.

You might want to look at some plastic surgery before and afters. My husband is more worried about my backside.

My husband makes comments to but not about my boobs, about my butt! He does not want it to go! I just tell him that I can get some of those Booty Pop panties After it's all said and done I'd rather be healthy than have a healthy backside! It'll all work out in the wash!

To all less-endowed gals I'd advise:
It's no use to obsess about size.
Yes, your A-cups can please.
You don't need double-Ds!
Lord above, you're as bad as us guys!

If it feels good, do it!  And if it smells good, eat it!

I started wearing a bra at 8 1/2 years old and was my adult size by 11 or 12, and am now 57.  Even when I weighed less than I do now, I was at least a C-cup (now a D, though my guess is eventually I'll return to a C).  I started pointing south in my late teens/early 20's, so my boobs haven't been perky in decades!  LOL  Having lost all of this weight, they are now deflating, so yes, it does happen.  My husband is very fond of that part of my body, too.  However, as I am now so much thinner - I weigh about 15 or so lbs. less than I did when we got married - I am more flexible, so there are some positives in the intimacy department that offset the chest deflating, and he's thrilled!  You may find the same is true for you.  If you are considerably younger than me, you may still have at least some perkiness left.  Either way, you'll find lots of positives and I bet your hubby will too!

I have been overweight my whole life therefore have had very large boobs my whole life. I was in denial about needing a bra larger than a 44DDD before surgery so I stuffed and I mean STUFFED in that size. I have lost soooo much breast tissue. Im now in a 38D.... but most of the cup is filled with skin :( they looked like shriveled up deflated baloons. So if it werent for the skin i would probably be a C,  But I actually have my first appointment tomorrow to get that taken care of! I cant wait!

Well everyone is different but not going to sugar coat I would say you can expect to roll them up like socks and tuck them into a bra lol I think age is a factor as well I am 49 a few months shy if the big 50 I was 46 when I had vsg I was 236 lbs 42 D after losing 101 lbs toy current weight of 135 I was 34B they were like deflated balloons I never thought it would bother me but it did so I had a lift and implants and now I am a very happy perky 34 D looking better and feeling better than I have no matter what you chose to do vsg is so worth it with or without boobs best wishes to you
