Sooo...this morning I tried some click powder a friend gave me and I fell in LOVE! I haven't been wanting coffee but needing a boost in the mornings and this definitely did it!! I have to get up so early that it's hard to be happy and positive without anything!! Plus with the emotional and hormonal changes, I have not been myself, but today, I definitely feel great!!

I was thinking of using this as my morning protein drink, I added some frozen strawberries to it too cause it was really strong and I don't like it with just  water. But I love how I feel, more energy, more happy

Does anyone use this on a regular basis?!? Any thoughts on whether it's good, bad, or ugly?!?

Any feedback would be great!!

Thanks

I like it, and use it daily, but mix one scoop click with another scoop of a chocolate powder and water for higher protein, lower carbs, less strong taste. Also note, click is supposed to be mixed with 12 Oz water, so it makes a bigger shake.

Just noticed you are brand new post op, I would check with your surgeon to see if you can have coffee/caffeine. Each surgeon had different guidelines.

Thank you!! My Dr. did say caffeine was ok to have already. I was thinking of mixing some peanut flour into it for more protein! Great minds think alike   But do you think that would be ok instead of an actual protein powder?!?

I really like the taste of Click. However, the number of carbs is a little high for me vs the amount of protein. I very rarely use it---and only to finish up the container. One serving would be almost half of my daily carbs.

Click---1 serving-----120 cals, 17 protein, 12 carbs
EAS (for example)----1 serving---130 cals, 23 protein, 3 carbs

You might want to use just a little in combo with another powder if you need the flavor.

Ok great. I was thinking that too! Cause I used half the portion size this mornig with 16 oz. of water and it was too strong, then I poured about 3/4 of that into the blender and added strawberries. It was better but still a little strong. So I think that's a great suggestion!!

Thank you!

Foe.. It makes me sick :(

Since surgery I cant find protein I can tolerate well. I love the way it tastes but it puts me in the bathroom right after and makes me lightheaded.

Cindy I agree! Since surgery I have not tolerated ANY type of protein shake/mix  at all. Dr. says sometimes we develop an intolerance/allergy. Also since surgery have become lactose intolerant which is apparently pretty common with this surgery as well...

I am so sorry to hear that! What a bummer! I didn't have any problems with it this morning. I am just concerned about the nutritional value. I think adding a little to my normal smoothie may be a better option!!

Hope you find something you like!!

I've never tried it, but something I did occasionally when I wanted to boost protein was add nonfat dry milk powder to shakes. Lots of protein, jus****ch the carbs.
