Today is my 13 month surgiversary..what a ride, I am constantly learning about how this sleeve works for me and I feel like I will always be learning...

some observations along my journey..

when I eat clean and on point ...I lose

when I meet my water goals ( 1gallon a day)... I lose

I find it very surprising that if I don't mee****er goals..

I always have a gain of about 1/2 lb...anyone else like that?

carbs do nothing worthwhile or beneficial for me...

I enjoy following my "diet" I feel "in control" and happy...

If I eat off my plan I find that I almost go into a frenzy...

My "frenzy" eating shows just how much of an "addiction" food is for me...

I have been doing much, much better not frenzy eating,

even if I overindulge..I now get right back on the horse.Instead of a week of eating mayhem!

I realize that I have to live my life, my kids and friends are always going to want to go out to eat,

It's for me to control I myself..this is getting easier and easier!

On to my NSV..

Its been there for quite a while but I didn't realize it till this week...

before the weight loss when I washed dishes at the sink, I'd come away soaking wet at the belly...

It just dawned on me this weekend while washing some dishes that I no longer get soaking wet at the belly

b/c the belly isn't hanging over the lip of the sink!!

GOALS:

I posted about 2weeks ago or so that my 5 month stall broke as I had lost 3lb

and met one of my goals to weigh less than my puppy-girl!

I am happy...happy...happy here at 138 and I only have 1 lb until 100% EWL

im adjusting my ticker to 135 partly b/c I don't think anymore weight loss

will make me happier and partly b/c I am having some dieting "fatigue"

I'm tired of obsessing and want to start to discover how to maintain..

although, if you remember the 5 month stall was in fact

me putting myself into maintenance ( not realizing what I was doing)

this has been such an AWESOME journey, I have discovered so much

about how I lose weight, how my body reacts, how much stronger

I am than I ever knew...I live my life happier, healthier, I am clear of mind,

and present, really present for all my loved ones...

my earth shattering depression is a thing of the past..

I don't hide!! I want to be out there doing things!!

what a shame I waited SOOO long to do this..

but in a way I think I did it at just the right time..

mentally I was SOOO ready,  don't know if I was so much in the past!

HAVE A JOYOUS SUNDAY MY OH PEEPS

AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT!!!

Way to go, Sleeve Sister!  You are doing so well.  And 100% EWL is awesome.  I am so proud of you and the changes you've made.

Thanks for this encouraging post.   You are an inspiration to us all.
