Constipation

I had surgery 12/9 , and I had a bm a few days after and then again but it's been like 3 days. What can I take ?

VSG on 12/08/14

1/2 packet of Miralax in one protein shake each day X 2 days and it should help. But because we're drinking our calories right now, not much will come out. I had surgery 12/8 and I did what the Dr. suggested on Tuesday morning. Had my 1st BM (sorry tmi) today. Take care ~ Kim

VSG on 11/03/14

Tmi incoming. I went from being a twice a day (pre-op) to once every 3 days post op. If you aren't in any pain it is fairly normal. My doc recommended stool softener as a first line, miralax next, then a prescription third.

I take 1/2 dose of miralax every day, and it fixes the problem.
