Peanut Butter
I second that for the PB2. . . and it only has 1.7g of fat and 53 cals. . . PLUS 6g of protein per serving. That has been a life saver for me.
I mix it to have peanut butter and crackers and put it in my chocolate protein shakes for a Reese's cup flavor. GOOD STUFF!!

Fat free peanut butter can be eaten when soft foods are introduced. In the liquid stage, you can add it to a high protein shake for acreamy peanutty flavor. I have a recipe for some banana , peanut butter, skim milk and powdered milk for that Xtra protein. Tasted real good in my liquid phase. Now I crunch a cracker with peanut butter or celery and PB ....I chew the heck out of it and it goes down just fine.....at least for me at over 3 months along

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to that question. Besides the incredibly high fat content, it is difficult to digest and will probably make your stomach (pouch) feel sick. My doctor cleared me to eat a few leaner nuts (like almonds) at about three months, and he warned me to only eat a few nuts...
You are so soon out of surgery that it is really a great time to focus on beating your cravings. Right now it is difficult to eat a lot of the foods we shouldn't eat. Soon, that will be another story. With RNY, it is not the bypass that causes us to lose dramatic weight, it is primarily the restriction caused by the RNY. If we give in now, we are setting ourselves up for disaster later. So, be really careful with your choices and I wish you all of the best.

I don't get near it. I was told not to have it.
Too many calories. I can get the good protein from other sources without the calorie load.
