Aretha Franklin in "People"
She looks great! I am so very happy for her! I like many of you knew Star Jones had the surgery...and I was only a teenager...but after hearing the story Star tells about why she did not reveal it I understand why. Imagine all of the scrutiny we receive as average people about our surgery. Someone like her would have to carry the whole WLS world on her shoulders and be judged for her decision every moment of everyday...good or bad. I am pretty open about my surgery but I am not sure that I would tell if I had her fame. I really wouldn't even want to talk about it everyday...and you know that is what life would be like. Now one question..Isn't she to old for surgery? But while I type this I do understand money can change anything...
