Scheduled for the 15th at 7am

Well, It's been a fun and exciting first stage of the journey, but it's almost time to start the next one. I'm scheduled for to have my VSG on Aug. 15th at 7am. I was originally looking at RNY, but based on my achievements so far and after talking to my DR looks like VSG is the course. I started to change my life style in late March and about a month later located a DR to talk to about WLS. To date, I've lost about 70 pounds with 2 weeks to go pre-op. The changes have been amazing already and I'm excited to have a new tool to help me remove the rest of the old me. 

I just wanted to thank you all for your posts. They have helped in my research and in gaining a comfort with the journey that we are on. I'm sure I will post more as I get closer and after and hope everyone continues to see the amazing progress I see on your journeys!

   My date is the 15th too!!! I don't know what time yet though.

 Cool, we will have to keep in touch and compare notes on what's working and not working. :)
