Red rash at incision site

I'm 3 weeks post-op RNY and developed a rash around my incision sites. The incisions themselves are great and not infected at all . They look healed but, the area around them are red , itchy, and irritated. Is this just the healing process? I'm using Benadryl cream but its not helping to much. I even switched to hydro cortisone and its still the same. Has anyone else went thought this and if so what worked best for you?

I hope you get some answers, I am 2 weeks post-op and my incision is also quite itchy, not sure about your rash however.

I had surgery 9 days ago and got the same sounding rash. Turns out I was allergic to the skin glue they used to close my incisions. Not much that can be done except time. I also take liquid bynadryl. It seems to help! I hope you feel less itchy soon!!!

I hope I feel less itchy soon too hehehe. Its so frustrating, and thanks for the responses.
