Question about groups....

I see there are groups on here (ie. Failed lapband group, failed WLS group etc.). Are you required to join the group to see the discussions/posts? I have followed links to groups but all I see is who joined the group and I'd really like to read the posts/content. Thanks

Groups are private and you have to ask to join ...   They are rarely exclusive so you shouldn't be shy about asking!

Thank you! I am in the pre-op phase and eager to read all the info (good or bad) that I can.

 It depends on how the group is set up. Some let you see the posts but not post if you aren't a member. Some won't let you see anything if you aren't a member.
