REVISION Q's - Ins. Rejected!

Anyone have to have a revision of a gastric bypass by getting a lapband?  My pouch is "huge" as per the radiologist who did the G.I. series and the bariatric surgeon.  My insurance company, United Health Care/Oxord says my BMI is too low, but it's not the original surgery and the BMI shouldn't  be included - or so I thought.  Anyone have a similar situation??

This is called Band over Bypass and I know one person who had it done who has been very successful with it.

Not all insurance companies have a different criteria for a revision as for a virgin surgery and some have a 1 WLS per lifetime exclusion so it just depends on your individial policy and the company's bariatric policy.
