Have any women had babies since surgery???

 I have 3 friends who had Gastric Bypass with me back in 2002, all had babies, and they were all born vaginally.  I don't think the surgery has anything to do with that.  Unless of course those women had their first children born c-section and then, of course, there is a greater chance of the 2nd child being delivered that way.

Statistically, more women than average have c-sections after WLS, although the majority have vaginal births.  I am guessing one reason may be that we are often watched more closely after surgery than non-ops and therefore OBs or MWs are more likely to order c-sections for "soft indicators."  I had a c-section before WLS, attempted a VBAC with my second post-WLS, but needed a second c-section.  The pelvic anomaly that made my first c-sec a must didn't go away after WLS.
