 No, I was a virgin ds. He has a zero leak rate for REVISIONS? Also, is he removing your old band or just bypassing the whole thing?  This is a totally different ballgame than a virgin rny.

I had my band removed 4 years ago, but I had damage that prevented me from revising at that time. I still plan to get a revision surgery, and have narrowed it down to the sleeve or DS. Those seem to be the top surgeries. If you are on board to take supplements, you might as well go for the DS. More successful than RNY, you can drink with meals, and take NSAIDs for pain. If you think you can lose and maintain with just eating less, then the sleeve may be enough. Most of us who have already failed the band, may have failed for that very reason though. If you can come to grips with the vitamins (that may be my weak point) then the DS is the most successful.
Some times dingle berries are the lowest hanging fruit.
