This was the big one for me, I was SO excited to run this race!

My chip time was 37:10, BUT we stopped to take pictures on the NJ/NY line, and we had a bit of trouble at the start of the race b/c they did not make the walkers and people with strollers stick to one side, so there was alot of bobbing and weaving and trying to not trip at the start which messed with our time too. I ran the whole thing from start to finish except where we stoped for pictures (it was just too cool to NOT stop, I mean really, how many times am I going to be able to stand under a river and have one foot in NY and one in NJ? LOL).

So excuese the mess I am, I had already run over 2 miles by the time we took this picture :)

Wow what an inspiration you are! Way to go! I am 6 years out and have been thinking very hard about starting to run again.

Thanks! It was really so much fun, I have never.ever.in my life been able to run, so doing it now gives me such a sense of freedom and control over my body, I really think it has become my transfer addiction!

It really was SOOO cool, both being able to go though the tunnel and just being able to finish the race was amazing!
