Can you dilute a protein shot?

I just attempted to drink a New Whey Protein shot and could only get it 1/2 way down. It's just too syrupy. I attempted to have it with my creamy soup but it was too much and I couldn't finish either the soup or the protein shot.

Sure, add it to whatever you need to, to get it down.

Since those contain mostly collagen protein, which is an incomplete protein and has a very low amino acid score, you'll get very little protein from them. You can dilute them if you want, but there's no point wasting your money on them. Drink half a cup of skim milk and you'll get as much protein and it won't cost as much or taste bad.

Thanks for the tips. I will try them to see how they work. As for them not being quality... I'm going to have to trust my doctor, but thank you for the information.
