I have been have trouble eating and drinking for the past 4 days. I bring it to my mouth and start gagging and can't get it down. I got a little down so the doctor does not think it is a blockage. I am on a clear fluid diet for 2 days. Anyone have this problem with gagging?

Ummmmm, partial blockage?  Still a problem.

Don't take this as your new normal.  Keep on the surgeon's butt.

I had a similar problem within a few weeks after my surgery (11 years ago today).  Luckily I fell into the hands of a great gastroenterologist who said the stoma needed to be stretched just a little bit.  That immediately fixed the problem, but it came back about 8 months later.  The same doctor did the same (small out-patient) procedure again - and I've never had trouble again!  I hope your problem is that simple.  If you don't get a satisfactory answer from your Bariatric surgeon ask to see the Gastroenterologist that he refers his patients to when complications occur. Best of luck to you.
