Support Garments for keeping the curves in check

Hi there, I have an event coming up and would of course like to look my best.  I would like any feedback/suggestions on abdomen, hip and thigh support garments. I would like to be able to wear my own bra with this garment.

What are you all using?

Thanks for the help. :)

I love Flexees. Wal Mart also has a less expensive version.

Thank you for your quick response, I will check out Wal Mart. I don't want to invest in something pricey as I feel okay in jeans and other regular clothes. Might feel differently when summer rolls around again though.

I was using the shapers sold at fashion bug but with them going out of business they didn't have the next size down available when I needed to go down a size so I went to Walmart. They were less expensive (I think they are by maidenform) and they are more comfy to me then the first pair I owned.

Thank you, I appreciate your response. Will check out Wal-Mart and see what they have. I am okay in jeans but this is a dressy event and want to look my best.

I also love the Flexees" wear your own bra."  I've tried others but feel that I don't get the "hold" with the others that I get with the Flexees.  Plus, they are very comfortable.

Thank you. I am seeing that it all comes down to personal choice, comfort and budget. I appreciate the help and will start trying on different models.

I am Spanx loyal, I have bought other shapewear but nothing is as comfortable to me as the Spanx. You can wear your own bra, they have a very accommodating access panel for bathroom business, they go from the top of your knees to the bottom of your breast line so everything inbetween is smoothed out,  and they are not that expensive about $20 a pair they sell them at Lane Bryant or you can order them off line.

Thank you, Spanx here in Guelph are about 125.00. That is why I am looking for less expensive alternatives. Appreciate your help. Will look into ordering online for the future.
