It's a daily battle i just need SUPPORT!!

I had the RNY with a starting weight of over 300 pounds. I was able to get to goal and stay here. It is something I fight for tooth and nail daily. My boyfriend calls me the most dedicated person he knows. So even thought the DS may have better stats, the RNY works, too. I think you should research both. As others have said, losing weight is not the problem for most of us. It was the maintaining that was the hard part. Weight loss surgery makes it possible to lose the weight and maintain it.
