Protein powder! Looking for soy-free

I'm having a more more difficult time tracking down samples than I thought.
I am able to buy tubs of powder, but don't want to spend tons of money on something I won't like. I'm also nervous my tastes will change after surgery.
I think the tricky part is I'm allergic to soy and so many products contain soy. Soy lecithin is ok, but soy protein is not ok.

I will be ordering some unjury packets ( not chicken soup) and a celebrate sample, but... What else?

GNC was a total bust.

I think I'm just freaking because surgery is so close.

Vitalady.com is a great resource. You can buy samples of nearly anything there. I am working my way through about 30 samples I bought. But I have heard that your tastes might change post-op too.

Try "Nature's Way Alive!" It is served from pea protein, and in addition has all vitamins and minerals. It is not the very best tasting, but certainly palatable.
