NYP reports Chris Christie had lapband surgery
I agree! I said a similar thing in a post I just wrote on the VSG forum. Maybe there are a lot of people out there that have had a band for a long time and haven't struggled... I just see so many stories of complications that the thought of someone getting one at this point makes me cringe! Hopefully he is a success story and the exception!

I wish him the very best with it and I hope he has a seamless journey without any complications from the band down the road. While I believe in to each his own and all that I can't help but wonder why oh why would he would choose the band over of the VSG especially when he DOES have access to the very best.... oh well ... Best wishes to Gov. Christie on his journey ... I like that guy too....
I agree. I do not understand his choice, but wish him well. He has two years until his presidential run is in full force so maybe he can make it wor****il then. My mom has a lap-band so I get to see all the issues she has with it. And she is bigger than she was before.

Funny and true. My mom has projectile vomiting all the time.
