Endoscopy & Pain

Super quick question.......I had my endoscopy Friday afternoon and have been in pain ever since.....not  sharp pain, but just a constant dull pain, like being squeezed--just rather uncomfortable....doesn't change whether or not I eat or if I'm hungry or satiated  (I am pre-op by the way)..

The endoscopy showed a hiatal hernia.....I've never had any symptoms.   But I'm wondering.....is it possible the endoscopy irritated it somehow?  Has anyone experienced pain after an endoscopy?

I did not have hernia, but it took me close to a week to feel 100% after endoscopy.
